| The oriental shaded tabby really complements all the other tabby patterns, it carries these patterns on the top part of the hair, but the other two thirds of the hair should be lighter .the patterns are more distinct in kittens than in adults, as the shading takes over. where there is silver this can reduce the intensity of the coat colour. | ||
| many poorly patterned cats are in fact shadeds though that does not mean they are good examples. | ||
